Back from Spain

Finally, I came back to Tokyo, back to normal.
Spain has become a beautiful memory.
Not sure about the reason, but after the day WTI broke $140,many middle east countries executives suddenly left the congress. Our scheduled meeting with Qutar Energy ministry and some UAE bureau memebers got cancelled. Then, ew suddenly had a free day!!
Without even thinking,we decided to go to Toledo.Cause our guide lady told us that people in Spain say- if I only have 1 day in Spain(or Madrid),I will go to Toledo.
Toledo is a small town, like you can see from the picture, that is pretty much the whole town.It is a world (I think it's cultral) heritage site named by UNESCO. Recently, more and more people moved to this town-of course the new part of the town-because railway has been connected here from Madrid. So you can see a lot of cafes and stores on the streets, they look like those new buildings in China. But suddenly, when our bus went up to the hill, you can see a completely old town.
This is what I like about Spain, new and old, combined natrually, at least acceptable.I forgot time at some moments.(Not like in China, when you are in a beautiful historic spot,PEOPLE who try to sell you stuff can remind you that you are in 21 century.)
I'm very sorry that I can't tell many stories about Toledo, cause I don't travel for history.Only one thing I can tell is that the word TAXI is from this town. And it was a name.(You want to know more? Check here.hehe)

were you tempted to buy a sword in Toledo? we were urged by our guide to buy a sword and we were like "for what?"

I always thought if I wanted to get away from the world and hide for a month, I would hide in Toledo :D
